Hi again, been back in Finland for two days now. London was a great city, been there once before with a different group. Haven't slept so well, since it was an early-morning when the ordered bus brought us back here to the school.
Only one week left before I have to carry my stuff out of this room and move back home, temporarily.
Haven't done much drawing during the field trip to London, but I drew this today at Alatalo:
Been missing my loyal Norwegian Elkhound friend, Heidi, again.
I'd so want to get a new puppy of the same breed, since I know about the breed and grew up with Heidi. She lived approximately 14 years, and was a sweet, caring companion ♥ The best dog I ever had in my life.
Well, before I start crying again, I better take that short nap and perhaps draw more later on (^^#)

Hi. . . I've done the art history essay earlier today and I'm almost done with Lappia's application works, too (or whatever they are called in English).
That's pretty much all I've been doing, working working working. . .
Now I'm gonna continue writing fantasy, to ease my mind and keep my fingers busy.

Here's a picture of Gallen-Kallela's Ad Astra, my favorite art work from the Finnish master (second version done in 1907 with tempera colors, original done in 1894 ~ this photo is also from Wikipedia).
. . . and here is my essay writing partner's/ my friend's favorite, Lemminkäinen's mother. I also like this painting (^^) ( done with tempera, in 1897 or so the Wikipedia claims). Gallen-Kallela's one of the most known art works, no doubt.
Pretty weather outside and yet again I have to spend my day indoors (-.-) *sighs*
I've been trying to write my part of the art history essay for our art class's museum visit in National Gallery, London. Gonna travel next Thursday ~ and it's going to be my second time in London or in England in general.
So, the art history essay is about this man, Akseli Gallen-Kallela (showing here his self portrait, drawn by himself ~ I found the picture from Wikipedia):
Have to admit I admire his style of painting realistically, using symbolism for that's what I'm doing myself, in my own way, of course ( ^v^#)
Been awake since 5 AM, and I've finally done my commission art work, Poppyfield of Glory:
. . .and a closer picture of the old stone/wood church my client wished for the background along with the white flowers ~ and since she seemed to like poppies, so I made a field of white poppies ~ I hope she'll like this (^v^)
I've used water colors to paint the large surfaces, acrylic paint to the poppies and leaves and to make this painting glamorous and glorious, I used light yellow and golden glitter glue, yellow on the morning sky and golden on the flower centers.
I'm sorry I haven't been updating my blog for a while, since I've been extra mega busy multitasker, traveling around my home country.
Well, it's almost time for me to head to the cafeteria, to meet my client and enjoy morning sunshine with tea and breakfast before work ✿ (◕ ‿ ◕) ✿
Exhausted again for working with the commission art work. It's a shame really that I have to spend this day indoors since it's so warm and beautiful outside, almost like summer weather, at least here.
So, I really really have to pack today ( -.-') Like it or not. I hope I'll finish the commission work tomorrow ~ I do have time, though...

I'm REALLY exhausted, been doing one commission work whole day, got it sketched, twice. First on regular A4-sized paper and then on a little bigger than A3, I think. . . Anyway, I still have A LOT to do for today so I gotta run now. I have to pack. . .

To be honest, I'm a little nervous about the karaoke, not that I want to sing, but the songs. . . It is left to be seen, are there any good songs for me :9 I've been in Tukirasti once before and sang Bon Jovi's It's My Life with my darling ( ^^#) Oh, the good old times. . .
Well, I still have few hours left before hitting the road by foot, 'cause the bar isn't that far away ;) Gotta put some war mask on (meaning make-up) and do some stuff so I don't need to worry about anything tonight (^^)

Well, I'm still pretty awake so I'm gonna finish my meal I heated and visit FB before diving under my blanket and falling asleep.
Oh, this was the first song I heard in the karaoke basement area in Tukirasti before the actual karaoke started. I was all hearts and daisies ~ ♥
I thank my company group, had great time with you guys (^^) and the random people in the bar, who clapped for me, I guess they REALLY LIKED me singing. . . (#^^#) The reason why I wrote the title like that, is that if my sweetheart had been there too, then my night had been PERFECT, no doubt ♥
Once I wake up again, I'll do the unfinished writing part of the final work for this school. . . and gather some of my stuff ready for moving out. Until next time (meaning Monday ( ¬ n ¬ )), be creative and try karaoke ;)
Yes, today went better compared to yesterday, which is good. Like the title says, I transformed the sketch of P (= our male model) from ordinary to fantasy ~ I made him a mermaid ~ because I didn't want to draw his legs (> _ <). We had to use water colors to paint the sketches and tomorrow we'll continue the pictures/ paintings with soft pastels ~ so, you'll have to wait until I can post a photo of my work here.
Also, I got a letter from Lappia (FINALLY!!), but I still have to wait for a copy of the letter my mother promised to send me here, since the letter came to my home address.
. . . and I'm VERY eager to start working on my final art work (for this school) on this Friday (^ v ^) ♥
Well, that's about it for today; I'm still going to sketch for my final work and write a story with my precious one tonight before catching my forty wings.
Had one shitty day, feels like I can't do a thing without screwing up first like a million times. . .
My cellphone is making me nuts. It's EXTREMELY hard to read text messages, nonetheless try to call anywhere. . . even this blog is against me. . . *sigh*
It rained from early in the morning till lunch time/ midday or so. Ever since I noticed that, I've been cranky the whole day and my art lessons didn't go well either. . .
